The Student Journal of Latin American Studies has been established here at the University of Texas at Austin in order to increase student involvement in Latin American Research and to further connect the research of graduates and undergraduates across the nation. This will encourage students to take more initiative in engaging in Latin American Studies, sharing of information between students and across universities, and providing the opportunity for students to have their research published. Thus, the newly established Student Journal for Latin American Studies invites students to contribute to the Journal through filling leadership positions and submitting research. This is an excellent opportunity to allow your research to be seen and to participate in a promising endeavor.
